| 1964-1966 | 6 cylinder spindles are all the same. Disc brakes were not offered on the 6 cylinders. |
| 1964-1966 | V8 drum and disc brake spindles are all the same. |
| 1967 | 6 cylinder and V8 are the same. Drum and disc brake spindles are all the same. |
| 1968 | Drum and disc brake spindles are different. Drum spindles are the same as 1967. |
| 1969 | Drum and disc brake spindles are different. Drum spindles are the same as 1967-1968. Disc spindles are the same as 1968. |
| 1970 | Drum and disc brake spindles are different. |
| 1987-1993 | All had front disc brakes. 4 cylinder spindles are different than V8. |
| 1994-1995 | All had front disc brakes. V6, GT and Cobra all use the same spindle. |
| 1996-2004 | All had front disc brakes. V6, GT and Cobra all use the same spindle. These provide a 1/3 inch wider track than the 1994-1995 spindles. |
